Google has launched a video campaign to promote their new Science Fair. The Science Fair is an online competition for students aged between 13 and 18. As usual, Google is looking is for creative ideas and offering scholarships and job opportunities.
This is great for all geeks. Good to have a powerhouse like Google support our young ones. As I work in digital marketing I also like the behind the scenes stuff here. This video is being helped out onto the internet by a company called GoViral. GoViral was recently bought by AOL for about $60m. Megabucks. It’s part of AOL’s new(ish) boss’s strategy. That new boss is Tim Armstrong who was once a significant Googler.

It’s a simple concept for a video but that doesn’t mean we won’t see logs of blogs carry it. Anything Google does is worthy of geek attention and online buzz.
