Hobbit Tales is a storytelling card game due out early 2014 from Sophisticated Games and Cubicle 7. The game has been designed by Marco Maggi and Francesco Nepitello, the creators of The One Ring RPG and the Tolkien-themed strategy game War of the Ring.
In the game players take turns being Narrator and make-up a story as they play through a hand of illustrated cards. While this happens the other players try and twist the story by playing their own hazards and monsters.

Pipe;
(They) … got out their pipes and blew smoke rings, which Gandalf turned into different colours.
Forest Stream;
They had crossed the enchanted stream.
A Short Rest;
We need food, for one thing, and rest in reasonable safety…
