Wizards of the Coast are working with eBay to help raise money for their charity partner Extra Life.
Right now on WotC’s eBay page, there’s a host of uncut Magic: the Gathering card sets. These are sheets of illustrations, big enough to be a poster, that had they been fed into the machine would have become retail items.
The Magic: The Gathering Auction ends on November the 7th and, according to Gavin Sheehan at Bleeding Cool, will be followed by a Dungeons & Dragons action.
Running from November the 7th to the 17th at the same WotC’s eBay page will be an auction of D&D editorial items such as covers for recent books.
The auction corresponds to a live gameplay event for The Great Dalmuti. The latest version of Magic designer Richard Garfield’s game, one based on a game called Scum, is D&D themed.
Expected highlights for the D&D action include;
- Dungeons & Dragons Editorial Galley – Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount
- Dungeons & Dragons Editorial Galley – Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden (Traditional)
- Dungeons & Dragons Editorial Galley – Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden (Alternate)
- Dungeons & Dragons Editorial Galley – Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything (Traditional)
- Dungeons & Dragons Editorial Galley – Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything (Alternate)
