A thread on EN World, a D&D and RPG news site mentioned in Wizards of the Coast’s latest survey, has reports of copies of Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything with binding issues.
D&D’s latest book offers up a myrid of optional rules adjustments, including a more modern and flexible take on races.
EN World user Dale Libby shows the binding splitting at the index and pages coming loose. The observation is shared by Sacroscant who confirms exactly the same problem.
Further down the thread, jgsugden reports that the problem with their book is just with the Credits page, which has been glued to coloured paper used in the front of the book. They note that the problem isn’t as bad as previous binding problems with the Players Handbook.
Wizards of the Coast have had binding problems with their books in the past, and offer a replacement process but the process is not quick; especially during pandemic restrictions.
The logistics lockdown has already affected Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything with the release of the book in the UK and EU delayed until December the 1st.
