Gale Force Nine is a model and game maker located in Virginia and owned by the Battlefront Group.
The US District Court for the Western District of Washington is currently processing a docket filed by Attorney Eric P. Forner, a lawyer with experience in Construction Law and commercial litigation, which contains a complaint against Wizards of the Coast.
The summary reads;
COMPLAINT for Breach of Contract, Breach of Implied Duty of Good Faith and Fair Dealing, Declaratory Relief, and Injunctive Relief against defendant(s) Wizards of the Coast LLC with JURY DEMAND (Receipt # AWAWDC-6745488) Attorney Eric P Forner added to party Gale Force Nine, LLC(pty:pla), filed by Gale Force Nine, LLC. Gale Force Nine makes miniatures, and DM screens for Wizards of the Coast, and have their own support page.
The Tomb of Annihilation, Storm King’s Thunder, Curse of Strahd, Rage of Demons, Elemental Evil and Tyranny of Dragons DM screens have been made by Gale Force Nine. The D&D Collector’s series includes a similar range, and The Rise of Tiamat, Neverwinter and the “Classic” Collector’s series.
In addition, Gale Force Nine also won the rights to localise D&D 5e to French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, Polish and Portuguese.
In June of this year, Gale Force Nine announced this Rime of the Frostmaiden miniatures series.
The US District Court for the Western District of Washington paperwork suggests that Gale Force Nine has moved since then to accuse Wizards of the Coast of breach of contract, breach of implied duty of good faith, fair dealing, declaratory relief and injunctive relief.
