Peter Adkison co-founded Wizards of the Coast and as the first CEO sold it to Hasbro. He now runs Gen Con.
World of Chaldea is Adkison’s own D&D campaign, which began in 1981 which has been running (sometimes using Burning Wheel) ever since.
The web series will launch on the 20th of December, this year and will mainly be told through comic book art with voice over, musical score and some motion graphics.
As the World of Chaldea trailer shows there will also be some live-action footage and we’re told the first two of eight chapters will include a short film.
Adkison is the producer and director on the project while Steve Conard is the lead writer, art director and co-director. Conard is also one of the Wizards of the Coast co-founders and worked with Richard Garfield on Magic: the Gathering.
