Blood Drive was previously three separate digital Deadlands adventures from John Goff. Now, in a new Kickstarter from Pinnacle Entertainment, the cattle drive to hell and back is getting a new edition.
The timing is spot-on as the new Deadlands edition is at the printer, shipping early 2021 and the pledge manager is still open so it’s not too late to join the weird west experience.
Blood Drive is going great guns, with $3,000 requested and more than $40,000 pledged with two weeks still on the clock. You can find out more or pledge at the campaign page.
The weird west is cowboys with supernatural horror. So, for Blood Drive imagine a posse of drovers with their Texas Longhorns trying to push through the swollen streams of Colorado, up through the dangerous mountain passes of New Mexico, and somehow through the haunted prairies of Wyoming.
The digital pledge costs $25 to unlock and has over $70 worth of assets. You get the PDF of the Blood Drive campaign and VTT assets, you get the Blood Drive Pawns in PDF and VTT, the Archetypes set, the Infernal Devices pack and two different map packs.
In digital, Blood Drive is expected to ship in January 2021.
Or, for $25, you can get Blood Drive in print, PDF and VTT along with the Archetypes set. This tier also has the Blood Drive Pawns, Infernal Devices, and map packs as digital assets.
The best of both, all the digital goodies and a shiny hardcover are $40.
The highest tier is $60, which gets you everything, even the maps in print.
The physical goodies are expected to ship in May next year.
Deadlands pawns are standees, printed on thick and die-cut punchboard when in physical form.
