Fainting Goat Games have a one-shot campaign that uses (slightly modified) Havoc Brigade rules on Kickstarter called Pew Pew. It’s about bounty hunters in space.
The game is suitable for up to seven players, is rules-light and Fainting Goat note it’s good for new players and has plenty of explosions in it. It’s a short campaign, set to end in 14 days, and you can join or find out more at the pitch page.
The one-shot game is the story of bounty hunters tracking a target in a sci-fi fantasy western setting. There’s neither mention of Mandalorian nor Firefly on the campaign, but that’s the vibe I get.
If successful, and the campaign is only $80, the game will be available at Fainting Goat’s DriveThruRPG and Itch.io pages after. I can’t currently find Fainting Goat on Itch.io, so perhaps this will be the first.
Why is the funding goal so low? Well, the book is done. The money is needed to get it out to people. That’s kinda the opposite of bounty hunting.
There’s just one pledge: $7 will get you a PDF copy and (for no additional cost) a coupon for a print-on-demand at-cost copy.
