It is not just Monte Cook Games who sell Cypher System games.
The Cypher System Creator Program is one which lets third party creators, people like you and me, create, sell and profit from our own Cypher System games.
However, there are rules to follow, and Monte Cook Games has just made changes to them that supercharge what other people can do.
It’ll now be possible for other creators to write for Godforsaken, the multi-fantasy setting that is flexible enough to do a modern fantasy like Harry Potter or Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a whimsical fantasy like Discworld, Wuxia, dark fantasy or swords and sorcery.
Game designers will also be able to publish content for We Are All Mad Here, the Cypher System powered fairy tales tabletop roleplaying game.
Stay Alive!, Monte Cook Games’ horror setting, is also now in the Cypher System Creator program and that means you can take your Lovecraftian horror ideas and sell it as Cypher content. Or any other horror stories you might want to terrorise players with.
For sci-fi creators, The Stars are Fire, the galaxy-spanning space opera becomes your port of call.
That’s not all, in-progress projects such as the superhero project Claim the Sky, real hero First Responders and The Origin! will be compatible when they are published.
