Wood Project is a small company based in New York that’s come up with an organiser for tabletop games that packs away into a single dice tower.
The campaign has just crossed the funding line, and there’s a healthy 35 days for new backers to turn up and boost both the cash pot and signal. You can find out more about the campaign at the pitch page.
There are special price deals on this Kickstarter until the 12th.
Wisely, as this campaign requires crafting things of precision and beauty, Wood Project has restricted it to only 100 pieces.
Sound good? Handmade wooden craft isn’t cheap. The full set made from Cherry Wood cots $140 or $160 depending on when you join.
After that, you pledge $15 to access a wood tier (the type of wood you want your set in) and then access a shopping list.
For example, $15 gets you into the Macassar Ebony tier where the dice tower cots $650 and each coater $26.
In contrast, $15 also gets you in the Alder tier where the dice tower costs $70 and coasters $3.
I guess it’s a question of how picky you are about your wood!
