World Anvil is a site that helps you build and manage a world. It’s used by authors and, of course, tabletop gamers.
In fact, World Anvil has character sheets and even integrates with virtual tabletop Foundry.
Today, Janet Forbes, the co-founder of World Anvil and professional D&D player for Wizards of the Coast had to set the record straight. World Anvil is not harassing streamers who are showing the platform in their streams.
Forbes wrote;
Well, we’ve had reports that nuisance lawyers have, on “our behalf”, been approaching people to ask if they have permission to make World Anvil streams and videos. These are not from us at all! In fact, if you are contacted by these people please let us know at [email protected] so we can tell them off personally! You do have our permissions, no matter what these lawyers say!
In the same post, Janet gives people blanket permission to make World Anvil streams and videos. There’s even a helpful post from World Anvil on how to do it.
