The most recent tabletop RPG from R. Talsorian Games Cyberpunk Red and prequel to the now controversial Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a skirmish game.
Monster Fight Club the company who made The Witcher and Cyberpunk Red minis is helming the project.
In the time of the Red, every city has a combat zone: an area of the city where the law doesn’t reach and cyber-enhanced gangs vie for control over the streets
Set in the dystopian future of 2045, under the red sky, players take control of teams of punks looking to earn some street cred.
There are no rounds in the game, no turns, in a fast-paced system with free-flowing actions. Nor is there the traditional tabletop ruler and tape measure. Monster Fight Club says they have a “Limiter” system in which characters’ attack and movement depend on the quality of their actions.
As you’d expect from the model maker, Cyberpunk Combat Zone includes miniatures and scenery from Monster Fight Club.
Combat Zone is due out next year.
