Modiphius has had the license from CBS to make Star Trek miniatures and the Star Trek Adventures RPG since 2016.
This week, bundled into a What’s coming in 2021 post that opens with Dune: Adventures in the Imperium news the publisher announced that their CBS deal has expanded.
The extended deal now includes Star Trek: Picard and Star Trek: Discovery.
Star Trek quadrant sourcebooks appeared in DriveThruRPG’s best-seller list of sci-fis this year, and the core Star Trek Klingons book did even better. However, we’re yet to hear whether the publisher will treat either Picard or Discovery to a core book of their own.
The Shackleton Expanse campaign has been announced, due Q3 2021. Also confirmed is the Tricorder Collectors Set, a collection that features digest-sized Original series pocket rule books, crew sheets, a 3-part campaign and even a wearable box that looks like a tricorder.
