Karl Nicolas’ Kickstarter to publish a compendium of over 100 unique and fully-illustrated magical tattoo for 5e is doing well.
The campaign kicked off with an ask of CA$3,000 and a few days later there’s just about CA$18,000 already pledged. Who knew the demand for mystical ink would be so high? You can read more or join the pledge via the pitch page.
Magic tattoos for D&D 5e were first introduced by Unearthed Arcana and then became official in Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything.
Tasha’s offered up 11 tattoos, Tome of Mystical Tattoos has at least 120.
There are two basic PDF pledges; one for CA$18 and one for CA$25 and both deliver the full download and digital stretch goals. The CA$18 is intended for people struggling with money.
I think this is the first time I’ve seen the thrifty tier outsell the regular level (127:122). It’s a shame. Either more gamers are struggling with money, or more gamers are pocketing the $5 at the creator’s expense.
At CA$30 you get the PDF, all stretch goals and an at-cost print on demand code for DriveThruRPG.
The estimated delivery date is April 2021 and you can check out a 16-page sample for free at Gofile.io.
