Takeshi Obata and Tsugumi Ohba created Death Note and Bakuman, and both were successful manga that went on to land an anime adaption.
The partnership’s Platinum End will now receive the same treatment, and Pony Canyon and Signal.MD will adapt the series into an anime.
The director is Hideya Takahashi who helmed JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind) while Kōji Ōdate (No Game, No Life) is doing character design.

The anime is due out on TV in Japan this winter, and we’re still to see whether a platform will pick it up for a Western audience.
