Greg Lambert has turned to Kickstarter to raise funds for a nostalgic, old-school campaign setting for D&D called The Chronicles of Aeres.
The final book will be at least 160 pages, with work from more than 15 artists and 18 races and cultures plus three more player classes; The Witch, the Dreamcaller and Alchemist. You can pledge or check out the details at the project page.
The world of Aeres is a young one, with mists and mystery and where your neighbour could be a talking fox and your best friend could be a unicorn.
However, Aeres is suffering already with ruthless and wicked sorcerers, evil kings and strange intruders from beyond the veil of shadow.
A pledge of $10 will get you the PDF and your name in it. A limited tier of $20 adds a poster map.
The hardcover unlocks with a pledge of $45, and it comes with the PDF. Should you want the hardcover and poster map, then pledge $60.
The hardcopy’s estimated delivery is June, but the PDF (even with the poster map) should be out by May.
