Wizards of the Coast will announce a new D&D book on the 12th of January and publish it on the 16th of March.
How do we know? Wizards have learnt that D&D fans observe the bookstore listings and when retailers update their catalogue, we notice. New D&D books are now supplied to shops with titles like “D&D March Title” and with descriptions like;
Your first look at the next Dungeons & Dragons title comes on January 12! Keep an eye on wherever you get your D&D news for a preview of the book.
The result are new book listings like Amazon’s D&D March Title (due March 16th) or Penguin Random House’s D&D March Title.
D&D book leaks used to be fairly common, but the last few releases have been much more in Wizards of the Coast’s control.
The timer is now on; with about a week for the fans to pick through the web and see if a partner or retailer accidentally lets something slip. If not, then we’ll find out what the next D&D book will be on the 12th and whether it’s the return of three classic settings that WotC hinted at last year.
