Wizards of the Coast have Dungeons & Dragons Adventure Game as a free download on DriveThruRPG.
Update: May 2024 – Wizards now charge $9.95.
The “Silver Anniversary” logo is visible on the cover which means this is the 1999 release of Dungeons & Dragons 2e. Originally a boxset, the Adventure Game uses a simplified ruleset that would be sufficient until characters hit level 2.
Bill Slavicsek wrote the book before going on to help coordinate the next edition of D&D.
Dungeons & Dragons 3e came out in 2000 and Wizards of the Coast also later gave it an Adventure Game accessory of its own.
Dungeons & Dragons Adventure Game is a 102-page scanned document and does not carry Wizards of the Coast’s new content warning that some legacy products do.
