The Sun is reporting that Matt Smith will quit Doctor Who had the end of his next series. Why? He wants to crack Hollywood.
That’s a plausible story but that’s also a story that could be argued for any any up-and-coming British actor.
The Sun’s source is an un-named friend who said;
Matt plans to quit after the next series.
He is eager to try new things and thinks Hollywood beckons.
This blogger hopes he hangs around a little longer than that. That’s coming from someone who was very worried about his choice as the Doctor in the first place.
Smith has just finished filming “Christopher and his Kind” in which he plays Christopher Isherwood in his early years in a repressive English society. He also stars in the movie Womb.
