Tribality Publishing, an RPG blog sometimes featured in Geek Native’s Routinely Itemised have a Kickstarter hit on their hands and it’s because of people’s approval with earlier work with their 5e setting.
The Seas of Vodari took in CA$50,000 from nearly 1,000 backers. The sequel, Under the Seas of Vodair, launched a few days ago, already has CA$22,000 and over 300 supporters. You can join in on the project page.
The 126-page Under the Seas of Vodari Quickstart Guide will be able when the campaign ends, so not much waiting.
Under the seas, you’ll find dungeons in the forms of caves, shipwrecks and lost temples. Some cities stretch from the seafloor to the surface and the Midnight Depths’ inky darkness.
Tribality has also included plenty of monsters adapted to the dangerous environment, so you have something new to scare players with.
Under the Seas of Vodari has 12 race options, such as sea dragonborn, merfolk and sirens, and 13 subclasses and undersea themed backgrounds and feat.
New spells are geared towards underwater combat, and magic items include potent relics.
A pledge of CA$26 (about £15) will get you the quickstart, a PDF of Under the Seas of Vodari, a map and stretch goals. Step up to CA$34 and digital character art and tokens plus a digital map pack is added.
The book’s hardcopy is available at the CA$48 tier, along with the underseas digital map. Higher tiers are available but limited in number.
The expected delivery is October of this year, as the book is 80% complete, no matter which format you unlock with your pledge.
