Last year, out of the blue and near the launch of the second edition of The One Ring RPG, it was announced that control of the franchise would move to Free League Publishing.
Today, Free League has revealed both the cover of the new edition and confirmed February 11th for the Kickstarter launch date. Of course, the game is coming via a crowdfunding campaign.
You can sign-up for launch notifications today and join over 4,000 tabletop gamers who have already done so.
The first edition, published by Cubicle 7, was an acclaimed success. It felt like adventures in Midd-earth.
The new edition, also created by Francesco Nepitello, offers streamlined rules and promises to “bring players further into the Twilight of the Third Age”. Free League say they’ve incorporated years of feedback and have also redesigned the look of the game.
