Lazy Wolf Studios, Tiny Giants and Lou Anders have successfully funded a Norse-inspired 5e campaign setting that mixes humour with horror.
Actually, the campaign pitch doesn’t use the V-word, preferring words like “warriors” instead. Here’s the official summary of the setting;
A harsh land beset by marauding trolls, capricious elementals, malevolent spirits, serpentine linnorms, and the greedy undead known as draugar.
Norrøngard is based on Norse mythology and the pages of Lou Anders’ Frostborn novel. It’ll weigh in at about 200 pages.
Lou Anders is a high profile author to be running an RPG Kickstarter. He is a Hugo-winning editor, a Chesley-winning art director and has written for Star Wars. Norrøngard will not be his first RPG project either, as he’s previously done RPG design for Kobold Press and River Horse.
A pledge of $20 will get you a PDF version of Norrøngard, get you into the pledge manager and all digital stretch goals that get unlocked.
If you want the VTT Map Pack as well, then step up to $40.
The hardcover book, minus those virtual tabletop assets but complete with the PDF, unlocks with a $50 pledge (about £37).
Higher tiers are available and all expected to be delivered later this year. The estimated date for the project is November.
