Grant Howitt’s January free to download, one-page, RPG is out, and it’s One Upon a Crime.
You are a hideous creature, a fantasy reject, who has snuck into a beautiful fairytale world through a greasy interdimensional portal. You are in debt to some horrible bastards and you need something you can pawn for cash. How much can you steal before you’re discovered by the golden-armoured agents of order and put to the sword?
Howitt’s free game is available as an illustrated single-page PDF or as a text-only one.
Patrons make these games possible and the tabletop designer makes one a month. Howitt is known for games like Honey Heist, Spire and Jason Statham’s Big Vacation and has over 400 supporters who contribute between $5 and $15 a month.
Supporters in the top tier get exclusive bonus content, and a signed and numbered copy of the game in the post. That’s a physical copy of the game.
