Adriel Wilson’s Savage Sisters had a short run on Kickstarter, still has a few days left and quickly met the campaign target.
The game is inspired by sword and sorcery heroes like Red Sonja and Xena as they adventure in (and against) barbaric worlds. You can join in, if you’re quick, at the project page.
Savage Sisters is powered by polymorph, which is no surprise as Wilson works for 9th Level Games and it feels like a strong choice for the Zine Quest project too. 9th Level Games will publish the Zine.
Together, players in Savage Sisters create their Sodal, warriors bound together in sisterhood, and individually pick weapons to represent them. The weapon helps define their role in the community and the die they roll in play.
There is a retailer pledge available, and for individuals, a $10 promise gets you a digital version of Savage Sisters and access to Kickstarter’s new Add-Ons suite.
The physical zine ships to anywhere in the world, with the right postage costs, and costs just a little more than the digital version, coming in at $15.
There are higher tiers available, which offer access to other Zines but not Rebel Scum which was another Zine Quest 3 project from 9th Level Games. However, fear not; Rebel Scum can be secured as an Add-On, giving you a second chance to secure a copy of the anti-fascist Zine if you had missed out before.
Rebel Scum was also a lightning-quick project and also earned this blogger’s bucks.
