Logan Jenkins of Very Random Encounters has a tabletop RPG that’s smashed funding goals during Zine Quest.
The one-shot game is for 2-6 players trying to be the only overnight survivor in a trap and weapon filled mansion. You know you’re in for an exciting evening when the butler says; “I’m Sure You’re All Wondering Why I’ve Gathered You Here…“.
One player takes on the butler’s role and the others one of the 12 invitees to hear the news that the deceased has decreed the sole survivor will inherit the mansion.
The game is played with cards and usually lasts two to three hours.
A pledge of $5 is enough to secure a PDF copy of the Cluedo-themed (albeit with the murder still to come) game. If you want the print version, then the pledge is $10 and shipping is extra.
The game is due out this August, and a higher tier is available. A pledge of $150 will get your portrait, drawn by the game’s artist, Jon Turner, hanging in the mansion. You’ll get a digital version too.
