15 million fans voted for Crunchyroll’s Anime Awards. That’s a significant rise from the 11 million votes from last year.
Dividing those 15 million up by countries, the United Kingdom lists fourth, proving that these lands have no shortage of anime fans. Compared to the year before, that’s a 50% rise in British voters.
Crunchyroll clearly has reach, and that’s why AT&T were able to command a $1.2 billion price tag when they sold the platform late last year to Sony Pictures and Aniplex’s Funimation.
So, which shows won?
