It turns out there is no shortage of gag doormats that say “Definitely not a trap door” out there, and some of them even look like a trap door.
Further research, though, wasn’t able to find a gimmick doormat that reviewed well. Those door designs just rub off, and given the thing is an actual doormat, and people are encouraged to wipe their heavy boots on it, that’s a problem.

It’s made of %100 recycled rubber from tires, is non-slip and frame-retardent and has been UV-stabilised to help resist fading.
The mat is 18in x 30 in and can be vacuumed, shaken out and even spray cleaned and left to air dry.
