The best selling version of Modiphius’s Achtung! Cthulhu on DriveThruRPG uses Call of Cthulhu 7th edition rules.
It’s a game set during World War II and with Lovecraftian horrors lurking in the shadows of sight and mind. Nazi plans of conquest overlap with these nightmares.
About ten years ago, when the RPG first launched, Geek Native talked to Chris Birch, we spoke about the multi-system approach the game was taking.
At the time, Achtung! Cthulhu was available for Call of Cthulhu and Savage Worlds with a Trail of Cthulhu version in the mix.
Modiphius has grown hugely since then; they’ve landed some impressive franchises, and their 2d20 Dune: Adventures in the Imperium is due out this year.
Now, Achtung! Cthulhu is closing the circle and coming to 2d20.
The Achtung! Cthulhu 2d20 Quickstart was released today. A module for Astral Tabletop will be published later today.
The 48-page guide contains a complete starter rule set for the game, complete with tops for new GMs and a pre-written adventure that takes players into the mythos-ridden Secret War.
Five pre-generated characters are also part of the quickstart, so you can get going straight away and battle the Nazi Occult.
