Enjoying watching S.W.O.R.D. agents introduced to the Marvel universe via WandaVision? S.H.I.E.L.D. has, of course, been established a lot longer on screens, but the tradition of super spies in comic books stretches back much longer.
It’s that vibe that Mike Lafferty and Fainting Goat Games are reaching for with the Agents of BAMF RPG zine. There’s U.N.C.L.E. in their as well as agencies that don’t even bother with acronyms! Maybe even some GJ Joe. It’s a blazingly short Kickstarter, and there are only a few days to get involved.
The acronym in question for this Kickstarter is Bureau of Abnormalities, Mutations and the Fantastic. It’s an agency that takes on criminal groups like NEST, Sky Pirates and other threats.
Agents of BAMF uses the Hack the RPG system by Eric Bloat.
The project only asked for $70 to fund, as it’s essentially done, and now Lafferty is looking to recoup costs. Therefore, the pledge levels are straightforward; it’s $7 for a PDF and an at-cost print-on-demand coupon (you have to pay for the printing and shipping).
If $7 is too much of a stretch due to financial hardship, then a $3 tier is, kindly, available. If you’ve missed the Kickstarter then you can buy the super-spy RPG from Itch.io.
The estimated delivery of Agents of BAMF is put at April 2021.
