Tonight, The Last of Us part II set a new record for Bafta Game Award nominations. The Playstation exclusive, which features Critical Role’s Laura Bailey and Ashley Johnson as Abby and Ellie, picked up 13 nominations.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, Mondo will stock their music section their limited The Last of Us part II and Last of Us (Volume 1 and Volume 2) vinyl. They look gorgeous and will likely sell out.
The Last of Us Part II
The record has music from the game and, as you’d hope, features Gustavo Santaolalla on guitar. It’s a soundtrack for a post-apocalyptic horror. Mac Quayle delights and horrifies on synth.
The artwork is by Tula Lotay, and the set is available on 2x 180-gram colour vinyl. It’ll set you back $35.
The Last of Us (Volumes 1 & 2)
Fact Magazine put The Last of Us soundtrack in their top 5 for Best Video Game Soundtrack of All Time.
These records are reissues, both with art by Sam Wolfe Connelly and both pressed on 2x 18-gram coloured vinyl for the first time ever, while the black vinyl remains an option.
These records will be available from Noon Central until they’re not.
