Kadokawa has called the anime “Full Dive: This Ultimate Next-Gen Full Dive RPG Is Even Shittier than Real Life!”. I’m going to call it “Full Dive” for short.
Full Dive doesn’t appear to be a “hero is transported to the fantasy world” story, not according to the synopsis. In Full Drive, our hero, Hiro Yuuki, gets hold of a really realistic RPG. How real is it? There are more than 10,000,000,000,000,000 flags, and it maps his physical attributes precisely. Getting hurt in the game hurts. What’s the reward? Satisfaction.

Light Tuchihi, the author of the popular Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious, wrote the visual novel. We’re expecting it to air in Japan sometime in April.
