Sabikui Bisco is set in Japan after a “Rusting Wind” as ruined everything. Law and order have given way to fear, cities are falling down, and Bisco Akaboshi is a young man from the hated Mushroom Guardian tribe.
Bisco Akaboshi has a mission, though, a journey. He’s looking for the Rust-Eating mushroom, a growth that can purify all rust, and he needs it to save his dying teacher.
While searching, Bisco encounters the good-looking doctor Miro Nekoynagi. The doctor’s sister is also dying, so they two embark on a crazy journey together.
There have been six volumes of the night novel, and it has topped the charts. A manga version ran from 2019 to 2020.
