We’ve had RuneScape for 20 years. There are gamers who you could drink with at conventions who are younger than some RuneScape characters.
Set in the fantasy world of Gielinor, RuneScape is a free fantasy MMORPG. It is one of the world’s longest-running online games, and there are almost 300 million player accounts.
Jagex, RuneScape’s owners, have partnered up with Dark Horse to publish the official companion book; RuneScape: The First 20 Years—An Illustrated History.
The art of the game, and its history, have been charted in the companion. The book will explore Old School RuneScape, and RuneScape, with exclusive interviews and hundreds of full-colour illustrations.
