Modiphius already makes Fallout Wasteland Warfare a skirmish game with an RPG spin-off accessory, but a 2d20 game is coming.
The publisher posted a YouTube trailer for it today, and a second blog post. It rather feels like we’re about to get some news.
The latest news for the Fallout 2d20 RPG confirms a rather diverse list of PC options.
Player characters can be Vault Dwellers, people who survived underground through the apocalypse and are now venturing forth, or Survivors and who have been living in the Wasteland and adapted to it.
The Brotherhood of Steel is also a possible option for PCs. As a result, these PCs are trained in Energy Weapons and Science, but they must also follow the Brotherhood’s orders.
There are some more unique options as well.
In Fallout 2d20, characters can be Ghouls. These once-humans are natural survivors who have changed in response to the radioactive Wasteland they call home. Radiation that might well kill someone else actually heals Ghouls.
Characters can be Super Mutants too. These are massive creatures, too large to wear armour, and while these characters have been evolved and changed to have great strength and stamina, they’re not very smart (and terrible at dinner parties).
Lastly, characters can even be the nigh-iconic robot helpers of the Wasteland world. In Fallout 2d20, you can play as a Mister Handy.
