Vivy is the first AI-human hybrid, and her directive is to make people happy through song.
However, a time-travelling AI-teddy bear visits the theme park where she performs and enlists her in stopping the war between the AIs and humanity.
There’s no English sub for the trailer yet, but the Japanese-only trailer still casts a dramatic picture of juxtaposition, war and beauty.
Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song- airs in Japan on the 3rd. It’s written by two scribes from Re: ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, so we know the story can get dark if it needs to.
It’s expected that the story will follow Vivy on her 100-year journey, up and to the time of the original AI v Human war, where, I imagine, we’ll find out if the singing AI has been successful in stopping it.
Later this month, after the anime has shown some episodes, the novel Vivy prototype will be published.
