dScryb is a subscription site, with a free tier, that provides GMs and DMs with boxed text to read to the players. It can be used verbatim or as inspiration for scenes and adventures.
The new service has just announced The Cartographer’s Collection which adds maps and illustrations to the service. Map Patreons are popular, but it means the art style will be the same from month to month. DScryb’s offering spans various different cartographers.
Helpfully, dScryb has also launched a module for the challenger virtual tabletop Foundry. As a result, GMs don’t need to leave their VTT interface to access some helpful box text if they’re coping with some unexpected decisions from players.
Foundry is a buy-once-use-forever model rather than a subscription model. A Foundry license along with Forge hosting for it and dScryb Hero membership is the prize bundle on offer at the dScryb giveaway being hosted to celebrate the recent upgrades.
Gamers can follow dScryb on social media or submit scene and character requests to participate in the giveaway.
