Wizards of the Coast have unveiled a new campaign for Dungeons & Dragons. Ravenloft: Mist Hunters will debut in July, timed to come out with Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft.
The campaign is for D&D Adventurers League players and will span over an impressive 14 scenarios, two of which WotC describe as “epic”.
They’re all going to be scary.
Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft is a horror, and each of the 14 adventures in Ravenloft: Mist Hunters will explore a sub-genre of horror.
I’m not sure I can even name 14 sub-genres of horror! However, the Genre Police have covered ‘real’ horror, splatterpunk, urban horror, disaster, cosmic horror, Grimm fairytales, b-movie horror and horror in general.
As you might expect, Wizards say these games will have content warnings.
