War of the Bounty Hunters Alpha is an upcoming comic book series that will be canon. It’s expected out in May.
Written by Charles Soule, illustrated by Steve McNiven, it will follow bounty hunter Boba Fett as he transports the carbonite frozen Han Solo.
Published by Marvel, there are variant covers, as these appeal to collectors, and people occasionally buy many of them. comiXolgy has two covers, for example.
A Marvel alternative is involved too. Dark Horse Comics’ sister company Things from Another World has a variant cover which is only available from them.
So, yeah, a first issue comic, a Star Wars comic, and an accountable and exclusive variant cover. You can hear the ebay scalpers licking their lips!
Things from Another World are taking pre-orders on their Bernard Change illustrated exclusive but are limiting it to a small number per customer.
