As noted in Geek Native’s convention calendar Crunchyroll’s Expo in August will be online and free.
Anime fans who register before the end of April will also get free backgrounds for desktops, mobile and the now ubiquitous Zoom! Early birds also book themselves into all future exclusive prize packs yet to be announced.
Registration takes place at expo.crunchyroll.com and you can sign-up for a newsletter seperately.
There are some other dates to be aware of, the deadline for fan panel submissions is Friday, June 11, the Cosplay Cup’s deadline is Sunday, June 6 and the one for submissions to Aristists’ Alley is Friday, May 7.
If you find the scroll of text at the hugely popular Virtual Crunchyroll Expo to be too busy, there’s always the events channel in the Discord server where you can chat to fellow geeks at any online event.
According to the convention calendar, there’s the first-ever Oculus Gaming Showcase on the 21st, Jasper’s Game Week, a charity event kicking off on Friday 30th, and then Paizo has confirmed PaizoCon Europe Online for August, with more details to come, with PaizoCon Online 2021 happening in May.
