Poster auction will contain previously unseen Star Wars concepts

An auction of over 490 lots will include over 200 posters and art designs from the creative agency Feref. Feref helped promote Flash Gordon, Big Trouble in Little China, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi and other geek classics.

The lots also include 30 Star Wars items, including previously unseen designs by Eddie Paul and Josh Kirby, and a classic Get Carter (1971) artwork by Arnaldo Putzu that wasn’t even known to exist public until recently.

The Feref Archive Collection is an extensive selection of images from one of Great Britain’s leading media advertising agencies, in the form of exclusive Signed Proof Prints, Colour Transparencies, Negatives and Production Photographs, some familiar; “Flash Gordon” and “Big Trouble in Little China” and some only being seen for the first time by the public; “Get Carter”, “Top Gun”, “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi” amongst many. They provide an incredible in depth look at the behind-the-scenes workings and machinations that is involved in bringing a film poster to life and provide a unique opportunity to own a piece of cinematic history.”
