The sci-fi movie from Signature Entertainment described by them as Star Wars meets Independence Day meets Avatar is to get a UK release.
Occupation Rainfall is slated to hit cinemas on the 9th of July and get a digital release. The movie was out in Australia last year.
There are names of geek kudos beyond Star Wars’ Temuera Morrison in the credits. Ken Jeong gets a bit part in the credits, and Jason Isaacs is in the film too.
There’s a Star Wars connections with the VX team. It’s the same people who helped with The Last Jedi.
It’s the aftermath of an alien invasion of Earth, and the planet’s survivors are now trying to fight back on the ground.
We’re yet to see the UK cinema scene flicker with any sort of life at all, even with lockdowns beginning to open across the nations. There’s nothing yet for Occuptation Rainfall on Cineworld but plenty of time for the sci-fi to get a listing.
