Cubicle 7 secured the Doctor Who RPG license in 2008 and have since published 40 game books, dice and other merch.
Today, the Irish publisher has announced that they have secured a deal with BBC Studios that renews the license.
In the update, Cubicle 7 noted;
As huge long-time fans of the show and lifelong gamers we were thrilled to create and publish games set in the universe of the world’s longest running science fiction TV show!
And then said;
A lot of work has been taking place behind the scenes over the last few months and we look forward to revealing more in the coming weeks with the first PDF release not too far away!
The Doctor Who range is available in print, from Cubicle 7 and from DriveThruRPG.
It’s DriveThruRPG that gives us relative sales figures so we can see the top five, in order, hottest Doctor Who titles are;
- The 2015 Doctor Who Roleplaying Game.
- The Twelve Doctor Sourcebook.
- All the Strange, Strange Creatures Volume 1.
- Aliens and Creatures.
- The Gamemaster’s Companion.
However, we can also see that no Doctor Who book appears in Cubicle’s top 100 hottest in general. Soulbound comes first, followed by WRFP adventures, then Wrath & Glory.
