Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy- has a trailer. The upcoming anime is based on a web novel by Kei Azumi.
The story is that of a regular guy Makoto Misumi who is summoned to a fantasy world to be their hero. The catch? The goddess of that world does not think he’s handsome enough to be the saviour and so lets him go.
Talentless Nana director Shinji Ishihira is at the helm, and the show is due out in Japan in July.
It’s the usual story for anime that are a few months out, we don’t yet know whether a Western audience streaming platform will pick the series up, but there’s a real chance.
Via Crunchyroll.
