There are whole genres of computer games all about vehicles. There are race car games, train and flight simulators and a host of others without even needing to invoke the power of sci-fi and talk about spaceships.
Is the same true for RPGs, board games and card games?
At the start of the year, Geek Native was giving away a copy of the Iello Aramini Circus which is all about loading up trains with animals. To enter the competition, readers had to say which vehicle type they would want to see more often in games.
Here are the results;
Vehicle | Response |
---|---|
Airships | 15% |
Bicycles | 10% |
Busses | 3.33% |
Cable Cars | 12.5% |
Cars | 3.33% |
Motorbikes | 7.5% |
Planes | 7.5% |
Ships | 5.83% |
Submarines | 10% |
Trains | 19.17% |
Trucks | 5% |
Wagons | 0.83% |
The winner, perhaps surprisingly, are trains. The stalwart of the transport system took 19.17% of the vote, which beats Airships into second place at 15%.
