Loke Battle Mats has announced and is open for pre-orders on Box of Adventure – Valley of Peril.
Geek Native can exclusively reveal that Valley of Peril is the first in a new range and that the next, Box of Adventure – Coast of Dread, is due for release in 2022.
The new innovation from the Big Book of Battle Mats publisher is a system-agnostic kit that combines modular maps with tokens of monsters and NPCs.
The Box of Adventures tokens are cut out and laminated to be wiped clean from pen markings used to track damage and stats.
The modular maps can be used individually or combined for a larger battle mat and are wipe clean. The cartography designs are pictured here and inside the box lid, allowing it to double as a dice tray.
There are 24 modular battle maps, more than 300 cut out tokens and a code to get a free digital copy so the assets can be brought to virtual tabletops.
Box of Adventure – Valley of Peril will go on sale first in the US on June 28th and then in July for the rest of the world. The kit will cost $32/£32.
