Pelgrane Press’ surreal and supernatural RPG, The Yellow King, did not have an easy ride from Kickstarter to today, but it’s here now and warping reality in all the right ways.
Inspired by the horror tales of Robert W. Chambers’s The King in Yellow, The Yellow King RPG uses the Quickshock of GUMSHOE to have characters investigate the unwholesome influences of Carcosa.
Games stretch across four eras, with four sets of PCs, but connected in some way. Start in 1890s Bohemian Paris and end up in This Is Normal Now and a world which is nothing like our own.
The Yellow King deal is good for the next twenty days.
