Defiant is a mature RPG set after the end of the world and when powerful supernatural entities control their own pocket empires on what remains of the world. A web of political marriage, romance, espionage and the occasional strength of arms determines who has better control over the reigns of power.
A PDF release of the game came out last year and was so successful the publishers, Game Machinery, a free prequel quickstart with Defiant Awakening and then a Kickstarter for a hardcover.
There are about two weeks left to join the Kickstarter, as I eventually did. The target funding goal has been met, met again and then met for the third time.
Success takes us into stretch goals, and on Thursday, Game Machinery will reveal the covers for four incoming supplements. You can see them here first on Geek Native.
