Announced last year, Freya’s Tears is a large scenario for Dream Realm Storytellers’ brutal Viking 5e Svilland setting.
The adventure will take six level 1 characters to level 20, and is now available at DriveThruRPG.
Svilland is a tactical tabletop RPG set in a harsh and violent land, and Freja’s Tears is upfront that it is intended only for mature players.
The adventure takes place in Svilland. It begins near a lake called Freyja’s Tear in Alsvartr, moves on to the northwest of Svilland, Gurbolruhm, and ends in the depths of Helheim. The adventurers wander around the map, discover many areas and face many dangers, including monsters, social conflicts, harsh weather conditions, and wars.
You don’t actually need a copy of Svilland to play through the adventure, one advantage of using the 5e system. Although, Dream Realm Storytellers make the recommendation on hand, and that seems entirely reasonable.

The publisher has run several Kickstarters, including Corpus Malicious – The Codex of Evil, and has built up a reputation for high-quality art and assets.
There is even an official Music and Ambiance album for Svilland.
Freya’s Tears’ listing on DriveThruRPG shows four double spreads from inside the book and reveal a similarly impressive layout.
