Justine Jones is a freelance illustrator who lives in Philadelphia. According to her bio, she likes to draw wizards and monsters.
In fact, Justine has drawn wizards and monsters for RPG publishers like Wizards of the Coast and Kobold Press. It’s her art for 9th Level Games that caught my attention with this tweet, though;
And what a great design! Known as the Mazes Crown & Skull tee you can buy it from 9th Level’s Threadless store in Extra Soft, Triblend or Premium, in a range of colours and from S to 3XL.
MAZES is an RPG for 9th Level fresh from Kickstarter success. It was funded in 2 hours.
In the game, you use one dice to represent your character, and the type of character you have determines which dice that is. The smaller the dice (d4 is the smallest), the more likely you are to roll the max result, even if that’s not very high.
The result, say 9th Level, is an RPG that feels like 1979 but plays like 2021. I’m ready to give it a go.
There is another MAZES t-shirt available; it’s the Mazes “1979” tee which doesn’t have Triblend available right now, just Extra Soft and Premium, but has a similar range of colours and the S to 3XL range.
Both are tempting.
