Geek Native readers help with a range of quirky surveys, and in February, they were asked to imagine they were supervillains. No one reading really is a supervillain, right?
The survey was part of a competition to win Bahamas, a game about escaping a plane, and with all such competition write-ups, these results aren’t robust. They’re a bit of fun. Scientists will find many flaws in the methodology!
The competition is closed now, but after looking at what readers picked, a new survey will open. Nearly real-time results will show you the current tallies for the six options. We can see whether the tropical island is still winning or whether broadband speeds push us back into more urban areas.
Geeky readers picked a sensible winner, I think, with 30% of people electing for a remote tropical island for headquarters. Perhaps the weather was a lure.

If you were a supervillain, where would you make your hidden lair?
Here’s your chance to tell a different story. Put yourself in the shoes of a resourceful supervillain. Budget is no problem, but your choices of lair are restricted to the six options below.
Now, heads up, due to formatting foibles, you might need to scroll within the page/on the iframe if you’re on a small screen device, to get to the question.
The current results are updated just as soon as Google updates the graph. Those updates are usually every few minutes. However, your browser, your ISP, or the many layers of caching Geek Native deploys may further delay the pie chart updating. Batter refresh a few times and see if that helps.
